1. Call to Order
The Local Human Rights Committee meeting was
called to order at 10:30 a.m. with Charles Loundermon, Chair presiding, for the
purpose of hearing business as presented on the agenda and such other
transactions or matters that may be presented to the Committee. The LHRC Chair, Charles Loundermon along
with members of the ESH LHRC welcomed Mr. John McMahon back to the committee.
2.
Agenda
The May
17, 2007 Agenda was reviewed.
Action: Motion
was made by Ms. Bristow and properly seconded by Ms. Foreman that the LHRC
approve the May 17, 2007 Agenda as written
The motion passed unanimously.
3. Minutes
Minutes of the April 19, 2007 LHRC meeting were
reviewed.
Action:
Motion was made by Ms. Bristow and properly seconded by Ms.
Foreman
that the LHRC approve the April 19, 2007 minutes as
written. The motion passed unanimously.
4. Hospital
Directors’ Reports
Mr. Favret presented the April 2007
Disposition of the Abuse/Neglect
Investigations Report; Facility Monthly Report and the Formal and Informal Complaints Report (see the May, 2007, LHRC
packet).
Action:
The committee members present accepted the Hospital Directors’
Reports for April 2007.
5. ESH LHRC Annual
FOIA Training
–Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) training was presented by Ms. Mitchell.
6. ECT Video(s)
Ms. Mitchell will provide another ECT Video at the June
21, 2007 meeting.
7. Announcement(s)
LHRC Training is coming up in September. It will be held in Richmond, Staunton or
Charlottesville. A possible date for the
training is September 6, 2007. Ms.
Mitchell will give an update at the June 21, 2007 meeting.
8. Adjournment-
Having no further business, a
motion was made by Ms. Bristow properly
seconded by Mr. Adams that the
meeting be adjourned. The motion
passed
unanimously
and the meeting adjourned at 11:30 a.m. The
next scheduled meeting will be held Thursday, June 21, 2007 in Building #33 at 10:30 a.m.
